How do you get 66¢ per cup?
A 5 lb bag contains about 2,268 g of coffee. At 15 g per serving, that makes roughly 151 cups. Divide $99.95 by 151 and the coffee costs about 66¢ per cup.¹ Use more coffee per brew and you’ll get fewer cups.

Why do you sell whole bean coffee instead of pre-ground?
Whole bean coffee stays fresher longer because the beans' natural oils and flavours are protected until you grind them right before brewing. Pre-ground coffee starts losing its punch the moment it's exposed to air, often tasting flat after a week or two.
At Resistance, every order is freshly roasted in batches and we ship whole beans so you get that peak freshness. It's a small step that makes a big difference in quality, and we're committed to helping you enjoy coffee as it was meant to be.
Do you sell flavoured coffee?
No.
All of our coffee has no added or artificial flavours added. All the tasting notes are either from the properties of the coffee beans themselves, or our expert and carefully crafted roasting process. Tasting notes simply describe the range of flavours you'll experience with each of our roasts.
What's the difference between your light, medium, and dark roasts?
Our roasts highlight the bean's true character: Light roasts bring bright, fruity notes with higher acidity (great for pour-overs); medium offers balanced flavour with nutty sweetness (ideal for everyday drip); dark delivers bold, smoky depth (perfect for espresso or those who like it strong). Pick based on your brew method, mood or taste.
